Arrived to Orlando and first stop was this place! Had the most AMAZING cheese empanada, the shredded beef for the arepa rellena was so flavourful! Plus the pastry with guava and cheese was so good! Seating was plenty, this place gets really busy all the time but it’s a quick turn over, we sat outside it was perfect. Coffee was good too.
Stumbled upon this place since we were visiting the area and it was a pleasant surprise.. Everything we ordered tasted great, we had the burger, Tres Leche, chocolate cake, empanadas, smoothies and Cafe con Leche... Coming from South Florida, we usually keep our expectations low, but this bakery and cafe definitely exceeded it.... Would definitely recommend..
I highly recommend this Mecatos location in Lake Nona. Everything is great here. There are many breakfast and appetizer options, great coffee and friendly staff and not to mention the amazing outdoor patio seating, with a great view of the lake. It's a great place with ambience to relax inside or outside with a nice cup of coffee and Colombian breakfast.
5 Stars!!!!!! I recently visited Mecatos in the Nona Lakes area and had the pleasure of trying their coconut pie – it was soooo good! The pie had a delicious caramel base that made it even better. But that's not all; they also have a variety of tasty meals like Colombian hot dogs, burgers, sandwiches, and empanadas. The place is very clean, and the atmosphere is welcoming. I highly recommend checking them out if you're in the area, especially if you’re craving something sweet or savory. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!
Ordered a cake at this bakery, and i highly recommend it. i ordered the Milojas cake and Flan and wowww very delicious, and Fresh! highly recommend it!!
Pleasantly surprised by their desserts. Tried their caramel cake and enjoyed every bite! The portion sizes are good and not overwhelming. They have outdoor seating close to a lake. Great ambience over all!
This is a great place to enjoy a good coffee. I love having breakfast with my family on weekends. They have a wide variety on the menu—I really like the Hawaiian empanada and the bunuelo.
